Ice cream, to us, is one of the world’s most perfect foods—one filled with nostalgia, comfort and pure satisfaction. Simply pleasurable to every one of all ages, it never seizes to bring back the warm memories of that very first bite. Whether you are a year old or turning 100 years old, living in a big city in America or in a small village on the other side of the world, ice cream is one food whose beauty shines in the smiles and laughs it produces in people.

We opened Sketch Ice Cream in hopes to bring something satisfyingly different. Our idea was to tantalize people’s mouth’s by taking ice cream to another level—where fresh truly is fresh, where flavors are always pure and where colors are only as Mother Nature intended them. In other words, our ice creams, sorbets and granitas are all made with cane sugar and flavored using either fresh local organic produce we hand pick and purchase at farmer’s and/or Monterey market or organic shade-grown coffee from Blue Bottle to loose-leaf teas from Art of Tea. Using only Straus Organic milk (no cream or eggs) to make our  ice creams, it’s almost guilt free! We take a lot of pride in everything we do—from slow-churning our ice creams and sorbets daily to grinding our own nut butters to picking herbs from our garden or hand-scraping our granitas—so rest assured that lots of love, passion, attention to detail and hours go into making everything in our store.

In the same way we wanted to satisfy you with our ice creams, we want to continue to make your mouth water all year long, so providing a special treat for every season was important. What better way to warm up the winter chill than a cup of our made-to-order hot chocolate–a 73% Venezuelan cacao topped with a homemade nibby marshmallow, or our hot apple cider–organic apples juiced and spiced, of course, by us. As for the summer heat, we have cold, sparkling granitas and ice cream floats to choose from. And if that’s not enough to make your mouth water, you can enjoy a custom-made ice cream cake for your next birthday, anniversary or plain and simply any occasion… We offer many other sweet treats such as our perfectly baked cookies, hot off the griddle cones, waffles and selected pastries. There is even something for the confection lover in you. We hope that there is something sweet we can make that will bring you both comfort and pure satisfaction in every trip!
